A dynamic force within Travel Wonder Hikes Nepal, Thakur Simkhada brings over two decades of elite Himalayan experience to our operations. Born in 1980 and raised in the rugged village of Katunje in the Dhading district, his connection to the mountains translates into an unmatched zeal for adventure.
Transitioning from a veteran trekking guide to a Tour Operator, Thakur meticulously engineers our itineraries with a blend of entrepreneurship and altruism, using mountain tourism to uplift his home district.

Philanthropy & Social Impact in Katunje
Anti-Trafficking Leadership: Through Friends of WPC Nepal, he provides education and protective shelters for women and children in rural Dhading.
Post-Disaster Relief: Following the 2015 earthquake, he spearheaded missions distributing rice, tarps, and mattresses to displaced families.
Infrastructure & Education: He actively supports clean drinking water pipelines and the reconstruction of disaster-hit community schools.
